USKO Team Gears Up for the 2025 California International Marathon

USKO is hitting the ground running—literally! This December, our team will take on the prestigious California International Marathon (CIM), an event known for its fast course, elite competition, and inspiring atmosphere. As one of the top 10 largest marathons in the U.S. and a premier qualifier for the Boston Marathon, CIM attracts thousands of runners from across the country, and we are proud to be among them.
CIM has earned a reputation as the “Fastest Course in the West,” offering a net-downhill route that starts in Folsom’s scenic foothills and ends at the iconic California State Capitol. The course’s gentle rolling hills and flat, fast finish make it a perfect setting for personal bests and Boston Marathon qualifications. With world-class organization and the energy of thousands of spectators, the marathon promises an unforgettable experience for both seasoned racers and first-time marathoners alike.
Our team at USKO is training hard to take on this incredible challenge. From early-morning runs to strength training and endurance-building sessions, we are committed to pushing our limits and supporting one another every step of the way. Whether aiming for a personal record, a Boston-qualifying time, or simply the accomplishment of completing 26.2 miles, our runners embody the resilience, teamwork, and determination that define USKO’s culture.
