The 4th of July isn’t just about fireworks. It’s about the freedom to dream, take risks, and build your future from nothing.
I landed in America from Ukraine at 22, starting my life completely from scratch. Zero English, no money, no connections. My first job was as a janitor.
Today, I lead USKO, a multi-million dollar company creating opportunity, building jobs, and fueling dreams with an amazing team.
That’s the American difference. Here, your starting line doesn’t define your finish line. If you show up, work hard, and never give up, you can build something real.

Coming from Ukraine, I know the true price of freedom. It’s not just a word, it’s a way of life. Right now, as my homeland fights for its freedom, I’m reminded how precious independence is and why we should never take it for granted.
I want to thank every American for supporting, encouraging, and lifting me up. You welcomed me and so many other immigrants and made us feel at home. In America, you can be born elsewhere and still become truly American. Here, even someone simple like me can have a real chance to succeed and prove themselves. That’s what makes this country great.
