In 2015, an 18-year-old fresh out of high school walked into the USKO office without a résumé full of titles, but with focus, grit, and the readiness to learn.
That was Phil Murza.
Ten years later, he’s one of USKO’s top-performing dispatchers, with over 12,000 loads booked and more than $35 million in freight successfully delivered for owner operators.

From his first role as a dispatch assistant, Phil steadily climbed through the ranks, mastering the intricacies of carrier coordination, customer communication, and high-pressure decision-making. Now, with a decade of experience behind him, Phil reflects not only on how far he’s come, but where he’s going.
“When I started, I didn’t know what the trucking industry even looked like from the inside,” Phil shared. “USKO gave me a chance to learn and earn. For that, I’m beyond grateful. I want to keep pushing limits. USKO is so much more than a job, it’s the community and the environment where I became who I am.”
